paddys day parade cork

Members of palestine sollidarity campaign and others decided to join the paddys day parade in cork , we were given a place in the parade.
some people said they didnt think the parade was supposed to be 'political' others aplauded from the side lines. If by joining the parade we caused some discussion ,or reminded people of the on going war then we achieved something, we marched in solidarity and for peace.without being anti israeli i would encourage people to boycott israeli goods, a peaceful way ,in the hope that eventualy international pressure will cause israel to respect the rights and land of the palestinian people , and cease the day to day opression of a civilian population.I am not the most articulate of writers , but would like to thank participants in the parade.freedom for palestine boycott israeli goods.
